Common Name: Mighty Bloom™ Westringia
Description:
Westringia 'Mighty Bloom™' is a hardy, compact Australian native shrub known for its vibrant, year-round flowering and dense, grey-green foliage. This variety produces an abundance of soft lavender-mauve flowers, with peak blooming in spring and summer. Thriving in Melbourne’s climate, 'Mighty Bloom™' is highly drought- and salt-tolerant, making it an excellent choice for coastal gardens, hedging, and low-maintenance landscapes. It prefers well-drained soil and full sun but will also grow in part shade. With a naturally rounded form, it requires minimal pruning but responds well to shaping for hedging and topiary. Its nectar-rich flowers attract bees and butterflies, adding biodiversity to the garden.
