Westringia fruticosa 'WES04' PBR, marketed as Grey Box™, is a compact, evergreen shrub native to Australia. It features dense, grey-green foliage and produces small white flowers from September to May. This plant is ideal for low hedging, borders, mass plantings, or as a container specimen. Its natural ball shape requires minimal pruning, making it a low-maintenance alternative to traditional box hedges. Grey Box™ thrives in full sun to light shade and tolerates a variety of soil types, including sandy and heavy clay soils. It is drought and frost-tolerant once established, making it well-suited to Melbourne's climate. Occasional pruning after flowering can help maintain a tidy appearance, though it often retains its shape without intervention.
