Common Name: Viburnum ‘Anvi’ (a selection of Viburnum tinus, also known as Laurustinus)

Description:
Viburnum ‘Anvi’ is a compact evergreen shrub prized for its prolific flowering and year-round appeal. It produces abundant clusters of delicate pinkish-white blossoms that begin in early spring and may continue sporadically into autumn, filling the garden with a light, sweet fragrance. The glossy, dark-green leaves provide a lush background while attractive blue-black berries follow the flowers in late summer, adding seasonal interest.

Ideal for Melbourne gardens, ‘Anvi’ thrives in full sun to part shade and tolerates a wide range of well-drained soils. It forms a neat, upright to slightly spreading habit and is perfect for hedging, screening, or as a structural specimen. Mature size is typically 1.5–2 m high and 0.75–1 m wide after a decade. The cultivar is hardy, low-maintenance, and well-suited to temperate coastal and suburban environments.
