Description:
The yellow form of Forest Lily, a cultivar of Veltheimia bracteata, is a stunning winter-flowering bulb native to South Africa. It arises from a rosette of glossy, wavy-edged, strap-like leaves and produces upright flower spikes crowded with tubular blooms in delicate lemon to pale yellow hues. Blooming from late winter into early spring, this plant adds a rare splash of soft yellow to shaded garden beds, container plantings, or under tree canopies in Melbourne’s cooler months. With its long-lasting blossoms and elegant foliage, it brings charm and structure to seasonal displays.
