Common Name:
Senecio 'Mini Chalk Sticks'

Description:
Senecio 'Mini Chalk Sticks' is a compact, sculptural succulent known for its upright, finger-like foliage in a striking blue-grey hue. A dwarf form of the popular Senecio serpens, this variety is highly valued for its drought tolerance, modern aesthetic, and low-maintenance requirements. The fleshy, cylindrical leaves form dense clumps that spread slowly, making it ideal for edging, ground cover, or container displays. In Melbourne’s climate, it thrives in full sun with excellent drainage and minimal watering, particularly once established. Although it can produce small white flowers in summer, it is primarily grown for its architectural foliage. 'Mini Chalk Sticks' is perfect for rockeries, succulent gardens, and contemporary landscape designs, especially in coastal or dry garden settings. Its clean form also pairs well with contrasting textures and colours in mixed plantings.
