Description:
Sedum 'Pure Joy', commonly known as Pure Joy Stonecrop, is a compact, herbaceous perennial that forms a low, rounded mound of light green, succulent foliage. In late summer to early autumn, it becomes adorned with a profusion of bubblegum pink, star-shaped flowers, creating a dome-like floral display. As the season progresses, these blooms give way to attractive seed heads, extending the plant's visual appeal into winter. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soils, 'Pure Joy' is drought-tolerant once established and performs best in poor to average soil conditions. Its tidy habit and vibrant late-season color make it an excellent choice for borders, rock gardens, and container plantings. Additionally, this sedum attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies while being resistant to deer and rabbits.
