Common Name:
Bondi Blue Fan Flower
Description:
Scaevola Bondi™ Blue is a hardy, fast-spreading Australian native ground cover known for its brilliant blue, fan-shaped flowers and exceptional heat and salt tolerance. Flowering prolifically from spring through to autumn, Bondi™ Blue is part of the Bondi™ series bred for improved flower coverage and a dense, compact habit. The trailing stems are covered in fresh green foliage and create a cascading effect, making this variety perfect for hanging baskets, pots, retaining walls, borders, or as a spreading ground cover in full sun positions. The vivid blue blooms contrast beautifully against the foliage and are highly attractive to native bees and butterflies. Suited to Melbourne’s climate, Bondi™ Blue is drought-tolerant once established, thrives in sandy or free-draining soils, and performs exceptionally well in coastal gardens. With minimal maintenance and a long flowering season, it brings reliable colour and native resilience to a wide range of garden settings.
