Common Name:
Westerland rose
Description:
The ‘Westerland’ rose is a robust and vibrant shrub or short‑climbing variety originally bred in Germany in 1969. It presents clusters of richly coloured copper‑orange to apricot‑peach double blooms that soften to salmon and pink tones as they age. The flowers are fragrantly spicy and carry a delightful old‑rose perfume. This rose forms a strong upright growth habit with healthy dark‑green, glossy foliage and shows good disease resistance and repeat flowering from early summer through to autumn when planted in favourable conditions in Melbourne.
