Rose - RSL Rose

Common name:
RSL Rose

Description:
The RSL Rose (Rosa ‘RSL Rose’) is a striking hybrid tea rose, developed to honour the Returned & Services League (RSL) of Australia. It features deep velvety red petals with rich amber-bronze undershades, creating a unique and dramatic two-toned effect. This repeat-flowering variety produces elegant, fully double blooms from spring through autumn, making it a standout in gardens, borders, and pots. With a strong, upright growth habit and glossy green foliage, RSL Rose thrives in Melbourne’s climate, preferring full sun and well-drained soil. It has excellent disease resistance and benefits from regular feeding, watering, and deadheading to ensure continuous flowering. Its deeply symbolic meaning and striking colour make it a meaningful choice for commemorative gardens and remembrance plantings.
