Rose - Meidiland Rogue

Common name: Rouge Meidiland Rose

Description: The Rouge Meidiland Rose is a vibrant groundcover variety introduced by Meilland International. This rose features small, semi-double blooms in a striking red hue, each approximately 2.5cm in diameter. The flowers are borne in large clusters, creating a carpet of colour that persists from late spring through autumn. The plant has a well-branched, bushy habit, with glossy, dark green foliage that provides a lush backdrop to the vivid blooms. In Melbourne's climate, the Rouge Meidiland Rose thrives in well-drained soils with full sun exposure. Its low-growing, spreading form makes it ideal for use as groundcover, in borders, or cascading over walls. This variety is known for its hardiness and disease resistance, making it a low-maintenance choice for gardeners.
