Description: Rose 'Monte Grappa' is a compact, vigorous groundcover rose with frilly, striped blooms in shades of light magenta, deep red and red blend tones. Its bright green foliage and spreading habit make it ideal for mass planting, borders, embankments, cottage gardens and low-maintenance feature areas. In Melbourne, it performs best in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and regular feeding through the growing season. Flowering is strongest from spring through autumn, with repeat blooms encouraged by deadheading. Lightly fragrant and highly decorative, it can also be trained as a low climber where support is provided.
