Common Name:
Impala rose
Description:
The ‘Impala’ rose is a compact and reliable floribunda variety that delivers masses of soft apricot to peach-toned blooms in generous flushes throughout the warmer months. Each flower opens from a pointed bud into a full, double bloom with a subtle fragrance, gradually fading to lighter shades as it matures. Its bushy, upright form is clothed in healthy, glossy green foliage that displays strong resistance to common rose diseases. Well-suited to Melbourne’s climate, it thrives in full sun and prefers rich, well-drained soil with regular feeding. This rose performs beautifully in mixed borders, low hedges, or as a feature in pots. With proper care, it provides repeat flowering from late spring through to autumn, and can continue into early winter in mild years. Its dependable nature, vibrant colouring, and tidy habit make it an excellent choice for both formal and cottage-style gardens.
