Description: The Grand Siècle Rose is a distinguished Hybrid Tea variety introduced by Delbard in 1986. This rose is renowned for its exceptionally large, full blooms, averaging 20 cm in diameter, composed of 30 to 33 petals. The flowers exhibit a delicate blend of cream and light pink shades, exuding a mild fragrance with notes of apple, raspberry, and classic rose. The plant maintains a bushy, well-branched habit, reaching a height of approximately 80 to 100 cm. In Melbourne's climate, the Grand Siècle Rose thrives in well-drained soils under full sun exposure. It is a repeat bloomer, producing flushes of blooms throughout the growing season, from spring to autumn. Regular deadheading encourages continuous flowering. This variety is suitable for use in beds, borders, containers, and as a cut flower, adding elegance to any garden setting.
