Common Name:
Sweet Pea Shrub

Description:
Polygala ‘LITTLE BIBI®’ is a compact, evergreen flowering shrub valued for its neat shape, glossy foliage and masses of vivid pea-like purple flowers. This dwarf selection is ideal for adding long-lasting colour to smaller gardens, borders, courtyards and decorative pots, where it provides a tidy, low-maintenance display for much of the year. In Melbourne conditions, it flowers generously from spring through autumn and can continue producing blooms for extended periods in mild weather. It performs best in a sunny to partly shaded position with well-drained soil and responds well to light pruning to maintain its dense, rounded form. Its bright floral display and manageable size make it a versatile option for modern gardens, cottage-style plantings and feature containers.
