Polemonium ‘Heaven Scent’ is a graceful clump-forming perennial admired for its ferny, ladder-like foliage and delicately perfumed, blue-mauve flowers. New growth emerges with deep bronze tones in early spring, maturing to a rich green as the season progresses. In late spring to early summer, the plant produces sprays of bell-shaped blooms on slender stems that rise above the foliage, attracting bees and other pollinators. The sweet fragrance and soft colouring make it a favourite for shaded garden spaces, woodland-style borders, and cottage gardens. In Melbourne’s climate, it prefers part shade and cool, moist, well-drained soil.
