Common Name: Tradewinds™ Terracotta African Daisy
Description:
Osteospermum Tradewinds™ ‘Terracotta’ is a striking, evergreen perennial known for its unique burnt-orange to coppery terracotta flowers with a contrasting dark centre. Blooming prolifically from spring through autumn, this hardy and low-maintenance plant brings a warm, sunset-inspired colour palette to garden beds, borders, and containers. Its compact, mounding growth habit makes it an excellent ground cover, while its daisy-like blooms attract bees and butterflies. Thriving in Melbourne’s climate, ‘Terracotta’ prefers full sun, well-drained soil, and is highly drought-tolerant once established. Regular deadheading will promote continuous flowering, and occasional pruning helps maintain a tidy shape.
