Common Name:
Unryu White Mulberry, Contorted White Mulberry
Description:
Morus alba ‘Unryu’ is a unique deciduous tree prized for its striking, twisted and contorted branches, which create an eye-catching architectural form, especially in winter. In spring and summer, it produces lush green, heart-shaped leaves, followed by small, sweet, edible white to pale pink mulberries in late summer. The unusual, corkscrew-like branching makes it an excellent feature tree, adding year-round interest to gardens.
