Common Name:
Profusion Crabapple
Description:
Malus × moerlandsii ‘Profusion’ is a stunning deciduous crabapple tree known for its vibrant seasonal displays. In spring, it produces an abundance of deep pink to reddish-purple blossoms, creating a striking floral show. The new foliage emerges reddish-bronze before maturing to deep green in summer, then turning rich shades of orange and red in autumn. Small, red-purple crabapples follow the flowers, persisting into winter and attracting birds. This hardy and ornamental tree thrives in well-drained soils and full sun, making it an excellent choice for feature planting, street trees, and mixed garden landscapes.
