Common Name:
Iolanthe Magnolia
Description:
Magnolia Iolanthe is a spectacular deciduous magnolia hybrid, admired for its enormous, cup-shaped blooms in soft pink with deeper pink tones at the base. Flowering in late winter to early spring before the leaves emerge, its striking display creates a breathtaking garden feature. The lightly fragrant blooms can reach up to 25 cm in diameter, making them some of the largest in the magnolia family. Once flowering finishes, lush green foliage follows, turning golden in autumn. Iolanthe thrives in well-drained, fertile soil and prefers a sunny to partially shaded position. It is an excellent choice for feature planting in gardens or large pots, adding elegance and seasonal interest.
