Chinese Tulip Tree
Description:
Liriodendron chinense, commonly known as the Chinese Tulip Tree, is a majestic deciduous tree closely related to the American Tulip Tree (Liriodendron tulipifera). It features large, uniquely lobed green leaves that turn brilliant shades of yellow and gold in autumn. In late spring to early summer, it produces striking, tulip-shaped, yellow-green flowers with orange centres, although these can be somewhat hidden within the foliage.
