Common Name: Rudolph Tea Tree

Description: Leptospermum 'Rudolph' is a fast-growing, medium to tall evergreen shrub, reaching approximately 2 to 3 meters in height and 1.5 to 2 meters in width. It features attractive purplish new growth and large red flowers that bloom during summer, often flowering through the Christmas period. The appealing leaf color and growth habit make this plant ideal for screens or hedges. It is cold hardy and tolerates poorly drained soils. 'Rudolph' attracts a wide range of nectar-feeding insects, which in turn draw native birds and other wildlife to the garden.
