Common Name:
English Summer Morning Lavender
Description:
LAVINNOVA® Lavender ‘English Summer Morning’ is a compact, evergreen lavender bred for exceptional flower production, improved form, and soft, romantic colour. This variety offers a profusion of pale pink to soft mauve flower spikes held above tidy grey-green aromatic foliage, bringing a delicate and refreshing twist to traditional lavender palettes. Blooming from late spring through summer and often into early autumn in Melbourne’s climate, ‘English Summer Morning’ is ideal for borders, low hedging, cottage gardens, and decorative pots. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, showing excellent drought tolerance once established. As part of the LAVINNOVA® breeding program, this lavender has been selected for superior garden performance, neat growth, and repeat flowering. Regular trimming after flowering will help maintain its compact habit and encourage additional blooming. Its softly coloured blooms are a magnet for bees and pollinators, adding life and gentle fragrance to any sunny garden space.
