Description:
Lavender LAVINNOVA® 'Purpleberry Ruffles' is a compact, highly ornamental lavender selected for its richly coloured flowers and distinctive ruffled appearance. It produces deep purple flower heads topped with prominent purple-violet bracts, held above aromatic grey-green foliage. The abundant blooms create a striking display and attract bees and other beneficial pollinators to the garden. In Melbourne, 'Purpleberry Ruffles' flowers predominantly from spring through summer, with additional flowering possible into autumn when conditions are favourable and spent blooms are regularly removed. It thrives in full sun and requires well-drained soil, making it particularly suitable for Mediterranean-style gardens, sunny borders, mass planting and decorative pots.
