Common Name:
Lavender ‘Bubbleberry Ruffles’
Description:
Lavender ‘LAVINNOVA® Bubbleberry Ruffles’ is a compact, floriferous variety from the Lavinnova® breeding line, known for its distinctive ruffled petals and rich berry-pink flower colour. This standout lavender produces a profusion of winged flowerheads above neat, grey-green aromatic foliage. Its blooms have an eye-catching two-tone effect, with magenta-pink petals and frilly, lighter pink ruffled bracts that resemble butterfly wings. Exceptionally well-suited to Melbourne's climate, this variety thrives in full sun and free-draining soils, performing best with minimal water once established. Flowering heavily in spring and often again in late summer with a light prune, it adds bold seasonal colour, fragrance, and pollinator appeal to borders, pots, and cottage or Mediterranean-style gardens. Bred for improved flower density and uniform shape, ‘Bubbleberry Ruffles’ maintains a tidy, rounded form without sprawling, making it perfect for low hedging or decorative edging.
