Common Name:
Pink Trumpet Flower

Description:
Incarvillea ‘Pink Trumpet’ is a striking herbaceous perennial valued for its bold, trumpet-shaped flowers in vivid pink tones and its lush, fern-like foliage. Often likened to a cross between a snapdragon and a trumpet vine, this plant delivers large, showy blooms with a golden-yellow throat in late spring to early summer, making it a standout in mixed borders or feature pots. The foliage forms a tidy basal rosette, while the flower stems rise above, creating a dynamic vertical accent in the garden. Perfectly suited to Melbourne’s cool-temperate climate, it performs best in full sun to part shade and well-drained, humus-rich soil. Though it dies back in winter, it re-emerges reliably each spring. Incarvillea ‘Pink Trumpet’ is excellent for adding dramatic seasonal colour with minimal care and is especially impactful when planted in groups.
