Common Name:
Double Pale Pink Rose of Sharon

Description:
Hibiscus syriacus ‘Double Pale Pink’ is a deciduous, upright shrub admired for its elegant, fully double blooms in soft pale pink tones. Flowering from mid-summer through to autumn, it provides a long-lasting display of colour when many other plants are slowing down. The lush, layered flowers create a ruffled, rose-like appearance, beautifully contrasted against mid-green foliage. Well suited to Melbourne conditions, it thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained, fertile soil. Once established, it is relatively drought tolerant and low maintenance, benefiting from annual pruning in late winter to encourage vigorous new growth and abundant flowering. Ideal for use as a feature plant, informal hedge, or screening shrub, this hardy variety brings a classic, cottage garden charm to a wide range of landscapes.
