Common Name:
Stella Bella Daylily
Description:
Hemerocallis ‘Stella Bella’ is a compact, floriferous daylily prized for its golden yellow flowers and long, repeat-blooming season. A hardy perennial with arching, strappy green foliage, ‘Stella Bella’ bursts into bloom from late spring and continues producing waves of cheerful, trumpet-shaped flowers right through to autumn. Each bloom opens for just one day, but the plant continuously sends up new flower stems, making it a reliable source of colour over many months. Well-suited to Melbourne’s varied climate, this tough and adaptable plant thrives in full sun to part shade and tolerates a range of soils, as long as drainage is good. It’s drought-tolerant once established, low maintenance, and perfect for mass planting, borders, cottage gardens, or pots. Its consistent flowering, compact habit, and ability to thrive in tough conditions make ‘Stella Bella’ a garden favourite.
