Common Name:
Frostkiss Sophie's Delight Hellebore
Description:
Hellebore ‘FROSTKISS® Sophie's Delight’ is an exquisite, evergreen perennial celebrated for its elegant, bicolour blooms and marbled foliage. Part of the acclaimed FROSTKISS® series, this variety produces large, outward-facing flowers with creamy white petals delicately edged in raspberry pink. Flowering from late autumn through early spring, it provides stunning colour and structure during the garden’s quietest months. The blooms are held well above the foliage on strong, upright stems, making them excellent for winter displays. The foliage itself is deep green with silvery marbling, remaining attractive year-round. Exceptionally well-suited to Melbourne’s cool-temperate climate, ‘Sophie's Delight’ thrives in part to full shade and moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. It’s ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders, underplanting, or decorative containers. Hardy, low maintenance, and long-lived, this hellebore also resists deer and provides a valuable nectar source during winter.
