Common Name:
Frostkiss Anna's Red Hellebore

Description:
Hellebore ‘FROSTKISS® Anna's Red’ is a bold and richly coloured perennial, admired for its deep ruby-red flowers and dramatic marbled foliage. A standout in the FROSTKISS® series, this variety produces large, outward-facing blooms from late autumn through early spring, bringing intense colour to shady garden spaces when few other plants are flowering. The flowers are held on sturdy, upright stems above attractive evergreen leaves, which are deep green with prominent silver veining. Thriving in Melbourne’s cool-temperate climate, ‘Anna’s Red’ grows best in part to full shade, in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. It is ideal for shaded borders, woodland gardens, containers, or as an underplanting beneath deciduous trees and shrubs. Low maintenance and highly ornamental, this hellebore is long-lived and adds seasonal interest and structure to the winter garden.
