Common Name:
Hebe CHOCOLATE BOX™ ‘Strawberry Cream’

Description:
Hebe CHOCOLATE BOX™ ‘Strawberry Cream’ is a striking compact shrub, grown for its dense form, glossy foliage, and beautifully contrasting flower spikes. This evergreen variety showcases lush green leaves with a rich burgundy flush that deepens in cooler weather, giving it year-round interest even when not in flower. From late spring into summer, it produces eye-catching bicolour flower spikes—starting as deep pink buds that open to soft pink and cream tones—creating a delightful 'strawberries and cream' effect. Bred for compactness and performance, ‘Strawberry Cream’ is highly suited to Melbourne’s climate and performs best in a sunny to partly shaded position with well-drained soil. Its neat growth habit and vibrant colouring make it a superb choice for low hedging, mixed borders, pots, or as a standalone feature in smaller gardens. It also attracts bees, adding life and movement to your garden space.
