Common Name:
Cherry Cluster Grevillea

Description:
Grevillea rhyolitica x juniperina (TWD01) CHERRY CLUSTER™, marketed under the Cherry Cluster™ brand, is a compact, low-maintenance hybrid native shrub selected for its prolific cherry-red flowers and dense, finely textured foliage. Bred for extended flowering and hardy performance, this cultivar produces vibrant blooms throughout the year, peaking in cooler months when colour is most welcome in the garden. The flower clusters are tubular and rich in nectar, making them highly attractive to birds and beneficial insects. The foliage is slender and deep green with a slightly arching habit, offering an elegant appearance even when not in flower. Well-suited to Melbourne’s climate, Cherry Cluster™ thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers free-draining soils. Once established, it displays excellent drought tolerance and can withstand light frosts. Ideal for borders, native garden beds, container planting, or low informal hedges, this variety responds well to light pruning to maintain a compact shape and encourage further blooming.
