Common Name: Grevillea 'Lemon Daze'
Description: Grevillea 'Lemon Daze' is a compact, evergreen Australian native shrub, reaching approximately 1 to 1.5 metres in height and width. From autumn through to spring, it showcases pendulous clusters of bright yellow flowers with subtle pink hues, attracting nectar-feeding birds and beneficial insects to the garden. Its slender, rosemary-like foliage adds a fine-textured backdrop to its vibrant blooms. This hardy plant thrives in well-drained soils under full sun to partial shade conditions. Once established, it exhibits excellent drought and frost tolerance, making it well-suited to Melbourne's climate. Minimal maintenance is required; however, a light prune after flowering encourages denser growth and enhances its shape. 'Lemon Daze' is an excellent choice for informal hedging, mass planting, or as a feature plant in native garden designs.
