Description:
Geranium ‘Biokovo’ is a hardy, low-growing perennial ground cover known for its soft pink-tinged white flowers and lush, aromatic green foliage. A natural hybrid of Geranium cantabrigiense, this variety forms a dense, spreading mat that suppresses weeds and adds long-lasting texture to the garden. Blooming from late spring through summer, each dainty flower is white with a blush of pink at the centre and delicate pink stamens. The foliage turns attractive shades of red and bronze in autumn, offering year-round interest. Well-suited to Melbourne’s climate, ‘Biokovo’ thrives in full sun to part shade and adapts to a range of well-drained soils. It is drought tolerant once established and performs particularly well in rockeries, borders, underplantings, and cottage gardens. Low-maintenance and long-lived, this geranium is also resistant to deer and other pests.
