Common Name:
Rudolph Spurge

Description:
Euphorbia ‘Rudolph’ is a hardy, upright evergreen perennial valued for its rich blue-green foliage and striking red winter colouring. Named for its distinctive cold-season transformation, ‘Rudolph’ develops a vivid red flush at the tips of its foliage in cooler temperatures, creating a festive display. In late winter to early spring, it produces clusters of lime-green flower bracts with small red centres, providing strong visual contrast and seasonal interest. Well suited to Melbourne’s climate, this variety performs best in full sun and free-draining soil, tolerating heat, light frost, and dry conditions once established. Its tidy, clumping habit makes it a perfect choice for modern borders, Mediterranean-style gardens, dry landscaping, and feature pots. Low maintenance and architectural, Euphorbia ‘Rudolph’ is also ideal for pairing with silver or purple-toned foliage plants.
