Common Name:
Garden Pink ‘Romance’

Description:
Dianthus ‘Romance’ is an elegant and compact perennial (often evergreen in milder zones) known for its abundant, softly fragrant, semi‑double blooms in warm coral‑pink or salmon tones, with a slightly deeper centre. The flowers appear en masse on short, sturdy stems above a neat mound of silvery‑blue foliage, creating a striking contrast. Blooming from late spring through summer (and sometimes into autumn with good care), ‘Romance’ fills garden edges, rockeries or containers with delicate colour and perfume. It appreciates full sun, sharp drainage, and moderate watering. Deadheading spent blooms helps maintain vigor and prolong flowering. This variety offers a blend of refined texture, floral display and scent, making it a versatile addition to many garden styles.
