Common Name: Common Dampiera
Description: Dampiera diversifolia, commonly known as Common Dampiera, is a prostrate perennial native to southern Western Australia. This groundcover features vibrant blue to purple-blue flowers with contrasting pale centres, blooming from spring through summer. Its dense, leafy branches form a compact mat, making it ideal for rockeries, hanging baskets, and as an understorey plant. Thriving in well-drained soils, it prefers full sun to part shade and exhibits good frost tolerance. Regular application of a native fertiliser in spring promotes healthy growth and abundant flowering. Propagation is typically achieved through cuttings.
