Common Name:
Pink Pinnacle Waxflower
Description:
Chamelaucium 'Pink Pinnacle' is a compact Australian native waxflower grown for its fine aromatic foliage and masses of small, starry pink flowers. Blooming mainly from late winter through spring, it brings soft colour and texture to native gardens, mixed borders, coastal-style plantings and large pots. This variety performs best in Melbourne in a sunny, open position with excellent drainage and light, sandy or gravelly soil. Once established, it is relatively drought tolerant and benefits from light pruning after flowering to maintain a dense, tidy shape.
