Description: Carex testacea, commonly known as Orange New Zealand Sedge, is an evergreen, tufted perennial sedge native to New Zealand. It forms dense, arching mounds of fine, grass-like foliage that transitions from pale olive-green in the warmer months to vibrant coppery-orange hues during cooler seasons, especially when exposed to full sun.
