Description:
Buxus microphylla 'Faulkner' is a compact, evergreen box hedge valued for its dense foliage, naturally rounded habit and excellent response to clipping. Its small, glossy green leaves create a neat, formal appearance year-round, making it ideal for low hedging, borders, parterre gardens, edging and topiary. Well-suited to Melbourne gardens, it performs best in full sun to part shade with well-drained soil and regular watering while establishing. Once settled, it is hardy, tidy and reliable, with small, inconspicuous spring flowers that are generally grown for foliage rather than display.
