Common Name:
Fresco Candy Daisy

Description:
Brachyscome ‘Fresco Candy’ is a cheerful, low-growing perennial daisy known for its abundance of soft pink flowers with bright yellow centres. A cultivar developed for compact habit and prolific blooming, this variety is ideal for brightening up borders, rockeries, containers, and hanging baskets. Its finely divided, feathery green foliage forms a neat, spreading mat that stays dense and tidy throughout the growing season. In Melbourne gardens, ‘Fresco Candy’ thrives in full sun and free-draining soil, and performs well in coastal conditions or dry spells once established. It flowers prolifically from spring through to autumn and will often continue into winter in mild climates. Deadheading is rarely necessary, but a light trim after major flushes will help encourage new growth and more blooms. Popular for attracting bees and butterflies, this reliable and colourful ground cover adds soft texture and movement to small and large spaces alike.
