Common Name: Sunrise Bougainvillea (Bougainvillea Bambino™ ‘Sunrise’)

Description:
Sunrise Bougainvillea is a delightful dwarf bougainvillea featuring a bushy, compact habit ideal for courtyards, containers, and small gardens. Its papery bracts transition through warm shades of soft pink, peach, apricot, and light orange, evoking the gentle hues of a sunrise. This vibrant display occurs primarily in spring through autumn, with sporadic flowering into milder seasons. Thrive-wise, it prefers a warm sunny position with well-drained soil, tolerates drought once established, and needs light pruning post–flower flushes to maintain shape and stimulate new blooms. Protection from severe frost is advised, although mature plants withstand light cold. Regular feeding with potash-rich fertiliser ensures prolific flowering. The plant typically peaks at around 1 to 1.5 m in both height and spread, offering a colourful yet manageable presence.
