Common Name:
Toothed Boronia
Description:
Boronia denticulata, commonly known as Toothed Boronia, is an attractive, small, evergreen shrub native to Western Australia. It is characterised by its fine, aromatic, deep green foliage with delicately toothed edges. During late winter to spring, this plant is adorned with masses of small, bright pink to deep magenta, four-petalled flowers that provide a stunning display. It thrives in well-drained, sandy or loamy soils and prefers a position in full sun to partial shade. Regular watering is necessary, particularly in drier periods, but it does not tolerate waterlogging. This species is well-suited to native gardens, rockeries, or as a potted feature. Light pruning after flowering will encourage bushy growth and improved flowering the following season.
