Common Name:
Azalea ‘Paul Schaeme’

Description:
Azalea ‘Paul Schaeme’ is a stunning evergreen azalea admired for its richly ruffled blooms in warm coral-pink to salmon-pink tones. Flowering prolifically from late winter through to spring, the lush double flowers create a vibrant and elegant display against the dense, glossy dark green foliage. The heavily layered petals and compact flower form provide excellent texture and visual impact, making this variety ideal for decorative pots, borders, low hedging, and woodland-style gardens. Well-suited to Melbourne’s temperate climate, ‘Paul Schaeme’ thrives in part shade but can also tolerate more sun in cooler conditions with adequate moisture. It performs best in moist, well-drained, acidic soil enriched with organic matter. This variety is highly valued for its profuse flowering, evergreen structure, and reliable garden performance during the cooler months.
