Description:
Anisodontea capensis CARNIVAL LIGHTS™ ‘Cotton Candy Pink’ is a compact, free-flowering evergreen to semi-evergreen shrub prized for its masses of large, soft candy-pink, mallow-like flowers with deeper pink to burgundy centres and attractive veining. The delicate blooms contrast beautifully against its neat, dark green foliage and are produced over an exceptionally long flowering season. Compact and upright in habit, ‘Cotton Candy Pink’ is particularly well suited to pots, courtyards, mixed borders and sunny garden beds, while its flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. In Melbourne it performs best in full sun in moderately fertile, well-drained soil and, once established, offers good tolerance of heat and periods of dry weather.
