Common Name:
Snow Angel Windflower

Description:
Anemone ‘Snow Angel’ is a refined and graceful herbaceous perennial celebrated for its pure white blooms and soft, mounding foliage. A cultivar of the Japanese Anemone group, it brings a fresh and uplifting presence to garden beds and borders from late summer through autumn, when many other plants are past their peak. Each flower is carried on tall, wiry stems above a clump of deeply divided, dark green leaves, creating a light and airy display. The blooms are single, with rounded white petals surrounding a prominent golden-yellow centre, making them a magnet for bees and other pollinators. Perfectly suited to Melbourne’s cool-temperate climate, Anemone ‘Snow Angel’ thrives in part shade with moist, well-drained soil, and will tolerate full sun if kept adequately watered. Its vigorous yet tidy growth habit makes it ideal for underplanting beneath trees, mass planting, or as a feature in cottage-style or naturalistic gardens.
