Common Name:
Anemone ‘Pamina’

Description:
Anemone ‘Pamina’ is a vibrant Japanese anemone cultivar admired for its rich, semi-double magenta-pink blooms that appear from late summer through to mid-autumn. The large, open-faced flowers feature golden-yellow centres and are held aloft on strong, wiry stems above mounds of deep green, deeply lobed foliage. A standout for its bold colour and graceful form, ‘Pamina’ brings warmth and life to the garden during the cooler months when many perennials have finished. It thrives in part shade but will also tolerate full sun in Melbourne’s temperate climate, especially with consistent moisture. Perfect for woodland borders, under deciduous trees, or as part of a cottage garden palette, it spreads slowly to form generous clumps without being invasive. ‘Pamina’ is a hardy, long-lived perennial that adds structure, seasonal colour, and pollinator interest to any shaded or semi-shaded area.
