Common Name:
Allium ‘Pink Pepper’

Description:
Allium ‘Pink Pepper’ is a charming ornamental onion known for its globe-shaped clusters of soft pink flowers and graceful, upright form. This perennial bulb blooms in late spring to early summer, adding a refined yet playful element to garden borders and floral displays. The blooms appear on slender stems above a low mound of narrow, strappy foliage, providing a long-lasting display that also works well in cut flower arrangements. Thriving in full sun with well-drained soil, ‘Pink Pepper’ is drought-tolerant once established and is an excellent choice for Mediterranean-style gardens, rockeries, and cottage garden settings in Melbourne. Like many alliums, it is resistant to most pests, including rabbits and snails, and rarely troubled by disease. Its light pink blooms softly contrast with other bold perennials, making it a standout in mixed planting schemes.
