Common Name:
Agastache 'Pink Pearl' – Pink Pearl Hummingbird Mint
Description:
Agastache 'Pink Pearl' is a delightful, compact flowering perennial from the Fiesta range, prized for its abundant soft pink flower spikes, aromatic foliage and long-lasting seasonal colour. This charming variety produces masses of delicate, tubular pink flowers held on upright stems above a dense mound of attractive, deep green, serrated leaves. Its naturally compact and bushy habit makes it an excellent choice for pots, garden borders, cottage gardens and small spaces where vibrant colour and texture are desired.
Flowering from late spring through summer and into autumn, Agastache 'Pink Pearl' provides an extended display that attracts bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Well suited to Melbourne's climate, it thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers fertile, well-drained soil. Once established, it offers good drought tolerance, although occasional deep watering during prolonged dry periods will encourage healthy growth and continuous flowering. Removing spent flower spikes helps maintain a tidy appearance and promotes further blooms. Growing approximately 50 cm tall and 40 cm wide, this low-maintenance perennial is ideal for mass planting, mixed borders and decorative containers.
