This small tree belongs to the same group as the Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum) and features palmately lobed leaves with seven to nine lobes, each leaf measuring approximately 2.3β5.5 cm in length and 3β8 cm in width. The foliage exhibits a vibrant green color during the growing season, transitioning to shades of yellow, orange, or red in autumn.
