Common Name:
Groundscape Grand Star Jasmine

Description:
Trachelospermum GROUNDSCAPE™ ‘Grand’ is a vigorous, evergreen groundcover jasmine selected for its dense growth, glossy foliage and exceptional coverage ability. Unlike traditional climbing star jasmine, this variety forms a spreading, low-growing carpet of rich green leaves that create year-round structure and weed suppression. In late spring and summer, it produces clusters of beautifully scented, star-shaped white flowers that sit just above the foliage, adding both fragrance and seasonal interest to the landscape. Perfectly suited to Melbourne conditions, it thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil. Once established, it is drought tolerant and highly resilient, making it ideal for banks, slopes, large garden beds, and underplanting beneath trees. Minimal maintenance is required beyond occasional trimming to maintain shape and encourage dense growth. This variety is an excellent solution for covering large areas with a hardy, evergreen finish.
